Highlights
- Start right after upload
Due to an easy setup script you get help with the setting of access permissions and (in case of need) the creation of a .htaccess file. - Modulized
mayoco is set up in modules. That way it is possible to only install parts of the system that are really needed and so webspace can be saved. New functions for the backend can easily be added. - Place where you want
The system can be installed in subdirectories. You can use mayoco multiple times on the same server with different settings. - Dynamic by just one tag
One simple, additional tag working similar to the input tag, is defining the necessary information in the sourcecode. Afterwards you already can start to enter content. - Speaking PHP
It is possible to include PHP scripts in your templates. This offers even more selfmade functions like special user requests or going deeper into mayoco's data system. - Stop spam
A built-in e-mail encrytion (based on javascript) prevents the published addresses from being spidered by spam bots. - Using existing static pages
To add dynamic/editable content to an existing website you do not have to rewrite it all. Simply define the existing page as a template and add the needed tags. - Getting used to it quickly
The backend has a clear design, is using the known tree structure and therefore can easily be handled. Even the migration of a website can be done quick and easy. - Variable identifiers for one page
A page can be displayed by entering its ID number or the URL name that is defined for it. That way http://www.domain.tld/1 can show up the same page like http://www.domain.tld/example.htm or http://www.domain.tld/index.php?example.htm. - Multi-way editing
On the one hand you can edit contents via the backend interface, on the other it is also possible to administrate entries directly on the website after your login. - Caching of pages
If you wish mayoco can grab pages once opened out of a cache. This means that the page doesn't need to be put together out of template and content on every call. It's already here for display. - Free means free
mayoco is published under the GNU General Public License (GPL). So it is free of costs.
